Dr. Ospina has wanted to be a vet since before she could walk. Even though she’s a long way from home, born in Cali, Colombia, and grew up in Southern California, she calls Upstate New York her new home. She graduated from Cornell University with a DVM and PhD, and also has an MPH from UC Davis. She has been lucky enough to meet all of the right people and has put together a great team that is here to help service the community with urgent and convenient care hours for dogs and cats.
Outside of work, Dr. Ospina stays busy with her three little humans (on opening, day ages, 2, 4, and 6!), and an extra-ordinary husband! At home they tend to: one large white dog (Polar Bear), one cunning beagle/cattle dog (Murphy), and hardworking cats, sheep, chickens, and cows. If there is any extra time in the day, she enjoys sewing.
